A Journey Through Culinary and Wine Exploration

Our culinary and wine journey has taken us around the globe, immersing ourselves in local food, wine, and event scenes. We dine where the locals dine, striving to absorb their culinary philosophy. Our experiences range from Michelin-starred restaurants to street food, and everything in between.
 

For us, food is a window into culture, an integral part of it. A meticulously prepared dish can create unforgettable memories. Let me share an example: a few years ago, we dined at Asador Etxebarri, ranked third on the world's top restaurant list at the time, in the Basque Country. Each dish in the tasting menu left a lasting impression, but the smoky goat butter served with the bread as a side between courses still keeps me up at night, its taste etched in my memory.
 

Once, we found ourselves in a magical, ephemeral place (Philippines) in the middle of the ocean that eventually submerged beneath the water. Local fishermen prepared breakfast from their catch on the beach. There, we tasted a female giant mantis shrimp, a dish costing about €800 in a Singaporean restaurant. The taste was extraordinary, and while the preparation circumstances may defy description, those fishermen truly knew their craft.

I've been there as well; I dared to explore, and now, I find myself completely captivated. Wine, often referred to as the nectar of the Gods, possesses an irresistible allure. Our profound affection for wine spurred us to take matters into our own hands. We've painstakingly imported all the wines available in our selection directly to our country. These aren't just any wines; they hail from small, highly acclaimed wineries. Following a steadfast commitment to sustainability, we exclusively import 'old world wines.' Many of the bottles gracing our collection are a genuine delight for avid collectors and true connoisseurs of fine wines.

At JÄÄ, we’re not just a team; we’re a group of friends who come together for special events. Each of us has our "official" jobs, but JÄÄ is our ultimate fun and addiction. Meet the vibrant personalities that make our gatherings extraordinary:

Mari-Liis
Exceptionally helpful and positive, Mari-Liis is always reliable when you need her. Her passion for her tasks is infectious, driven by a genuine love for effective communication and embracing new challenges.

Grethe aka Aiku
Primarily an equestrian trainer, Grethe’s captivating energy is impossible to ignore. Her laughter is heart-stealing, so if you prefer to stay composed, beware of its contagious charm!

Desiree
Our universally adored Desiree is diligent and considerate. Though her culinary tastes are unique—think months of rice and soy sauce in Asia or pasta in Latin America—her endearing nature makes her quirks easily forgiven.

Kaisa
A true charmer, Kaisa continually surprises us. Balancing her roles as a real estate broker and accountant, she also shines as a comedian, always keeping us entertained.

Keitrin
A bit of a mystery, Keitrin’s serious demeanor masks her true positivity. Her dedication to giving her best often tricks first impressions, but her genuine warmth always shines through.

Kristjan
Our junior member and high school student, Kristjan juggles volleyball, football, studies, and still finds time to join our club. With ambitions to gain experience in every sector of the business world, we’re excited to support his journey.
